    Janet Sherman, Parts Manager, received the "Faster Hero" award.

  • January 2004
    Lee County Fleet Management was recognized by Utility Fleet Management Magazine and Fleet Counselor Services as the #1 Fleet in North America.

  • October 2003
    Danny Brashear, Operations Manager, received the "Faster Hero" award.

  • April 2002
    Lee County Fleet Management earned The Blue Seal of Excellence Recognition as prescribed by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of vehicle repair and service by voluntary testing and certification for automotive repair and service professionals.

  • October 2001
    Lee County Fleet Management was recognized as the second most efficient fleet operation in the United States, according to a nationally recognized fleet analyst and an article published in the October issue of Automotive Fleet Magazine.

  • October 1998
    Marilyn Rawlings, Fleet Division Director was presented with the CCG Systems most prestigious award "The Change Agent Award."  The criteria for this award is that significant, positive, and innovative change has taken place at the site selected.

  • January 1997
    Lee County Fleet Management was the first fleet in Florida to completely eliminate hazardous waste from its operations by recycling, using environmentally safe materials, and modifying operational procedures.

Lee County Candy Pitro Award
This award recognizes Lee County employees who, while faced with adversity, maintain a positive attitude toward their job, life in general and inspire others.

          1998 - Harold Miller   (Fleet Mechanic)  Award Winner


Harold Miller Award
This award is to honor Harold Miller, a Fleet Management mechanic, who passed away after an intense battle with cancer.  Harold was a hard working employee who displayed an exceptional attitude toward life, family and his job right up to the end.  Fleet employees wanted to remember Harold in a special way and initiated the Harold Miller Award.

Fleet Management Employee of the Month Program

This award is specifically designed to recognize outstanding performance. Fleet Management demonstrates this through their Employee of the Month Program.  This individual incentive is based on the "I Made a Difference" premise. The criterion includes perfect attendance, 100% customer satisfaction, positive attitude, jobs completed under standard time and overall efficiency.
