PROJECT DETAILS:
SCOPE OF WORK: The North Lee County Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant has an existing treatment capacity of 5.0 MGD permeate and is proposed to be expanded utilizing the Progressive Design-Build project delivery method. Substantial completion of this project is set for March 15, 2011.
The Purpose of the proposed project is to select one design-build team to work with Lee County Utilities to provide the following improvements to the existing North Lee County WTP: (1) evaluate and modify facility to achieve the original name plate production capacity of 5MGD permeate, (2) expand the facility from 5MGD permeate to 10 MGD permeate, (3) improve operability and maintainability of the facility. After selection, negotiations shall be entered to commence project execution, through progressive phasing.
