LEE
COUNTY’S REQUIREMENTS FOR SPONSORSHIP THROUGH PROMETRIC
Before you can register to take an exam at a Prometric
testing facility you will need to complete the candidate section
of the ‘Exam Registration Form’ which can be found on page 8 of
Prometric’s Registration and scheduling guide and submit it to
our office for authorization. Lee County charges $35 per
sponsorship, this fee will allow you register with Prometric to
take the required exam(s) for one Certificate of Competency. The
forms may be submitted in person, via email, regular mail, or fax.

Email:
ContractorLicensing@leegov.com. Scan the document and attach
it to an email message, in the body of your message please include
the type of certificate of competency you plan on applying for.
Upon receipt of your application we will reply via email and
provide you with a link to process your payment online. Upon
receipt of payment we will return via mail your authorized Exam
Registration Form.

Fax: (239) 485-8577. On the cover sheet please include the type of
certificate of competency you plan on applying for and if
available an email address so that we may contact you. Upon
receipt of your application we will reply by email or by phone
with directions for payment. If you provide us with an email
address we will provide the link for online payment. Upon receipt
of payment we will return via mail your authorized Exam
Registration Form.
· By
Mail: Address the envelope Attn: Lee County Contractor Licensing,
P.O. Box 398 Fort Myers, FL. 33902-0398; Include a check for
$35.00 made payable to Lee County BOCC, the Exam Registration
Form, and a letter indicating the type of certificate of
competency you plan on applying for. Your Authorized Exam
Registration Form will be returned by mail.
An
approved Exam Registration Form for testing with Prometric Inc. is
valid for six months from the date of payment. Please see the Exam
Registration Form which can be found on page 8 of
Prometric’s Registration and
scheduling guide for information regarding exam fees.
EXAM:
You
will need to submit the authorized Registration form to Prometric
Inc. before your exam cut-off date. The exam cut off dates can be
found on page 7 of
Prometric’s Registration and
scheduling guide.
(Please allow adequate time for Lee County to return your
registration form to you by mail when considering your exam date.)
