Contractors:

Contractors can apply for roofing, HVAC, electric, plumbing, solar and residential driveway permits online and receive their permits by email. Contractors click here for Registration information.

Owner / Builders:

Residential Property Owners may apply for roofing, HVAC, electric, plumbing and solar permits online. However, the owner will be required to pick up the permit from our office at 1500 Monroe St in downtown Fort Myers, M-F 7:30am to 4:30pm. 

Residential Driveway permits can be applied and paid for online then delivered to the owner/applicant by email; they will not need to be picked up in person. Owner/Builders click here for Registration information.

Certificate of Use Permits:

Individuals (commercial tenants) looking to open a Business may now apply for a Certificate of USE online.
