Multicultural
Programs
The Multicultural Program of the Lee County Library System reaches out to the growing multicultural population of Lee County. Our aims are to:
- Promote the library’s services to new
immigrant families and persons from cultures
without a library tradition
- Reach out to diverse communities
- Gather information from the multicultural
community on the need for library services,
programs, and multilingual materials
- Develop the multilingual collections in all
libraries
- Work with local social, civic, and
faith-based organizations representing
multicultural communities
