11:15 a.m. Southwest Florida's Colorful History: Presented by noted local historian Vernon Peeples  A discussion of key moments in local history, including famous figures such as Andrew Jackson and John Quincy Adams, and how those events shaped the region we live in today. Presented by The News-Press.
12:15 p.m. World War II - Sharing Memories: Veterans are invited to share their memories and experiences.  Scholar Dr. Mark Herman provides historical expertise and facilitates discussion.  Display of WWII uniforms and memorabilia provided by Graham Nordling.
1:30 p.m. Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings - Notes From Cross Creek:  Betty Jean Steinshouer portrays Rawlings, Pulitzer Prize-winning author of "The Yearling" (1939) and "Cross Creek" (1942).
