GARCIA-AGUILERA
was a private investigator for five years, and then she turned to
writing. The Cuban-born author has written six books in the widely acclaimed
Lupe Solano mystery series, including Bloody Waters, Havana Heat, and
Bitter Sugar. She has been honored with the Flamingo and Shamus mystery
awards. She is also the author of two novels, One Hot Summer, and
Luck of
the Draw. Garcia-Aguilera lives in Miami.
