Vivian Vande Velde

Hailed as "a master of the unexpected" by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Vivian Vande Velde has written numerous books of fantasy for young adults including “Witch Dreams,” “The Book of Mordred,” and “A Hidden Magic.” Vande Velde’s “Heir Apparent” was among the select titles chosen for the Sunshine State Young Readers List in 2005/2006.  She lives and works in Rochester, New York, with her husband and daughter.
