Michele Martinez was born and raised in inner-city New Haven, Connecticut and went on to graduate with honors from Harvard University and Stanford Law School. She worked at a prestigious Manhattan law firm before spending eight years fighting crime as a federal prosecutor in New York City. Michele’s debut novel, Most Wanted, was released in 2005 and was followed by The Finishing School, winner of the Romantic Times Magazine Reviewer's Choice Award for Best Mystery & Suspense Novel of 2006; and Cover-Up, a "Top Pick" by Romantic Times Magazine.
