 An Evening of African American Authors & Art

      Evening of African American Authors & Art is a companion to the Lee County Reading Festival set in a relaxed atmosphere of African American expression in music, visual art and literature, for the purpose of promoting and encouraging literacy and awareness of cultural diversity in Southwest Florida.

     Original works by African American artists will be on display and select authors will present readings from their works. A donation of $15.00 prior to the event will be required to attend. $20.00 donation at the door. Checks should be made out to the Foundation for the Lee County Library System; For: Dunbar Friends. Food and beverages will be included. There will be a cash bar.
