GarbageCan

 Weekly Curbside Collection:  There is no limit on how many cans or garbage bags you set out, but please keep  the weight under 50 pounds each.

 

  •   Cans must be placed out at the curb by 6:30 am on the collection day.

  •   Can size must be 40 gallons or less, with a weatherproof lid and handles on  each side.

  •    Cans and/or bags must be placed no more than six feet from the roadside.

  •    Ensure you have animal-proof containers.  The haulers are not responsible for spilled garbage cans or torn bags.

  •    Trash must not be placed out more than 24 hours before scheduled pick up time, and the empty cans must be removed  within 48 hours after pick up.

  •    Violation of the above rule may result in a warning for the first offense and a fine for each subsequent violation.

  •    Large steel drums are not approved cans.
     
    trashcan    For collection days, missed pickups and special pickups, call your hauler.  Residents in multi-family complexes with trash dumpsters need to check with their management company for guidelines pertaining to the disposal of large and bulky items.
